“Fenn supported my daughter in preparation for German GCSE. My daughter did not take German at school and we live overseas, so the entire preparation was from Fenn and online. Fenn was patient, methodical, kind and encouraging. She set homework and expected it to be completed which helped my daughter be disciplined about work outside the online lessons. Fenn knows the curriculum and was able to guide my daughter through the entire exam preparation. The results were wonderful – A* in German. Thank you Fenn😊”

“My ten year old son has been having weekly French lessons with Fluent Fenn doe nearly a year now and has really enjoyed them. The lessons have been tailored with his interest and learning style in mind and the content is fun and engaging. Each week the lessons include a bit of listening, speaking, reading and writing followed by a small amount of set homework which we find really useful to keep the momentum going. We have found Fenn to be a friendly and receptive tutor and she has done a great job at introducing French as a new language to our son. “I have only recently started tutoring sessions with Fenn in the past month, having had little or no interest in learning a language at school I have now embarked upon learning French as an adult and complete beginner, at the unenviable age of 47. Starting from scratch was pretty daunting and for me it was more about building up the confidence to have a go than it was motivation, which thankfully has improved since my childhood. Fenn’s tuition style is very supportive and the homework has been useful and provides some structure between sessions, now I am gaining confidence I am trying an app between sessions also. We have been having tutoring virtually on MS teams and Fenn has been flexible enough for me to fit these in when my schedule allows, which is occasionally difficult. Overall, I am finding our weekly sessions hugely beneficial and it is proving very effective in getting me into the habit of learning which, when languages don’t come naturally to me, is worth every penny!”
